What is a Reply In Support Of A Motion To Disqualify?

A reply in support of a motion to disqualify asks the court to disqualify the judge or attorney at issue as requested by the moving party. Reply papers will seek to refute the factual and/or legal arguments made in the opposition papers. They may also seek to strengthen the moving party’s position with new arguments, although some jurisdictions request that reply papers be limited to refuting arguments made by the opposing party.
