What is a Reply In Support Of A Motion For Default Judgement?

A reply in support of a motion seeking default judgment asks the court to impose the default as requested by the moving party. Reply papers will seek to refute the factual and/or legal arguments made in the opposition papers. They may also seek to strengthen the moving party’s position with new arguments, although some jurisdictions request that reply papers be limited to refuting arguments made by the opposing party.
