What is an Opposition To An Emergency Motion?

An oppostion to an emergency motion requests that the court deny the relief requested. It will usually include an argument that the relief requested should have been sought on noticed motion. Opposition papers are usually supported by a statement of facts, a legal brief or memorandum with citations to legal authority, and if necessary, exhibits, declarations, and affidavits.
